Boxes and Bags of Hope to Cancer Patients

On Wednesday, another delivery of groceries was distributed to over 70 cancer patients and their families across the Dayton region. This is the second in three weeks, an initiative between Gala of Hope and Shoes 4 The Shoeless, with the cooperation of First Baptist Church, Kettering and Living Word Church, Vandalia and scores of volunteers. Volunteers purchase--directed by a dietician for a well balanced assortment--and drop off the items. Another team of volunteers organizes the delivery according to family size, and then scores of drivers deliver the hope!
