Beavercreek, OH, April 6, 2020 - Gala of Hope extended a helping hand to cancer patients at the Dayton VA Medical Center! To help some through nutrition challenges for the remainder of April, Gala provided grocery gift cards.

“Some of their patients are seeing more limited options to obtain groceries and fresh produce during these key weeks of Ohio’s stay-at-home order. The team at the Dayton VA thought that providing these gift cards was a better way to answer some of this challenge through these difficult weeks,” said Jeff Brock, Executive Director of Gala of Hope.

In addition to this assistance, Gala of Hope also arranged with a local sewing group to make and provide face masks for Dayton VA patients. Gala delivered 100 masks so that patients could more safely continue their treatment at the VA Medical Center’s main campus.
